Laser welding is the core process of battery production. It mainly includes current collector welding, lid plate welding, seal welding, sealing pin welding, etc. Current collector welding refers to the welding of copper or aluminum pole ears with nickel-plated copper current collectors or aluminum current collectors. The main trajectories include spiral lines, straight lines and other processes. Before Lid plate welding, the lid plate should be assembled to current collector. Therefore, it is necessary to assemble before welding after visual alignment. After assembling, the lid is welded with current collector. Sealing welding refers to the sealing welding of the lid plate and the shell to form a sealed cavity to ensure that the electrolyte does not leak. Sealing pin welding refers to the sealing welding of the injection port. The finished products of the above processes are the raw materials for the next process. There is a tolerance matching relationship between the processes. Therefore, the influence of the above equipment on the production quality of batteries or supercapacitors is very critical.
